There is not shame in getting beat up on in your second year by Russell Westbrook. Even then I think he could have given up 4 less free throws if he wasn't a second year player seeing his first extended NBA action on some bail out star calls.

I don't know if he'll ever become a PG, but if he can continue to make a reasonable percentage of jump shots he'll have a place in this league. He's shooting around 60% at the rim and 46% on his long jumpers for the year. Right now its his lack of free throw attempts, poor free throw accuracy and his 3-15 foot shots that he needs to improve.

For pretty much all of last season and the start of this one, Bradley looked like a draft bust.  A guy with all the talent who was just never going to adjust to playing at the NBA level.  Now he looks like a legitimate NBA player.  Maybe he'll never be an all-star or start for a good team, but he's going to have a fairly long career in the league, barring injury.

He reminds me a lot of a Lindsey Hunter type player.  Which is fine with me, you need guys like that on your team.  Is he a superstar? Absolutely not, but he can be a serviceable rotation guy.

Co-sign this all dude needs to do is consistently hit tht mid-range shot and he'll have a spot in this league for a long time

Im sorry but his offense is terrible.  Teams give him the Rondo treatment and allow him those wide open looks that he can't be trusted to make...and even worse if his inability to run a fast break.  His assist-to-turnover ratio is awful

He's had two years of chances.  Still sucks (on offense)

I DO really appreciate his adrenaline and effort though, I think he may be able to stick around in this league as an end-of-the-bench player for those reasons

I completely disagree.  I saw him in person defending Derrick Rose and made rose not want the ball in his hands on 4-5 consecutive posessions.  The bulls fan infront of me was squirming in his seat.  Granted the bulls won but it was still impressive.

Really did you see him post up out of balance that game?  How about the save to no one in the one game.   There is a reason his assist total is so low.  He does not see the court well nor does he show high basketball IQ.  How about the shots that  get blocked by opposing centers.  You can disagree until your red in the face but you have done little to convince me.   Defense takes attitude and determination not basketball IQ.

I agree he can defend all but the best of the best  but elite guards like last night have torched him and he does not have the offense firepower to battle them.  But his D is a willingness to defend not a function of his basketball IQ.  he is not a good help defender either.

He will be a fine situational defender and backup though.

Bradley has one problem, he came out too early.  He hasn't developed emotionally enough to be ready for the NBA.  He is nervous out there, tight.  Defense is just work and athleticism so he is able to do that.  Dribbling, shooting, and passing require you to be loose and confident.

There is a lot to like in Bradley.  I am a fan.  I think the talent is there.

Avery doesn't have a high basketball IQ.   He is a good athlete but he is exposed when defending elite A level talent on defense.   He can dominate lesser guards with his defense.  Although Westbrook torched him I thought he played decent last night overall in terms of assists and shooting.   

I see him as a roleplayer defensive specialist.

I wouldn't say Westbrook torched him (he did Dooling though). He scored points on Dooling and was bailed out a few times by the officials on Avery's contested jumpers. I will also add that Westbrook shot the ball 24 times hitting 11 (He took some ugly shots and had a couple of his shots blocked by Bradley). Bradley played well last night, it wasn't perfect but lets give credit where credit is due. The hate for Bradley is getting out of hand. He is a Celtic and we should support him.

This is more than true!! The points Westbrooke was scoring were MOSTLY against Dooling and like 8 of the points came really fast on Dooling during our huge run!!!! In fact, when AB returned to the game (too late Doc), Westbrooke only scored TWO more points which came by a questionable call to get him to the line (I think AB came back in with like 7mins left in 4th, plenty time for RW to score more but he was SHUT OUT after basically abusing Dools for 4 consecutive plays which really cost us)!!! From the time AB had a chance to start (real playing time which he can never get with RR playing like 40+ a game), he has gotten better and better each game! He hurt his shoulder and still came back providing solid D!! You can't hate on someone who is steadily improving each game!!! This is what anyone should expect from a second year player, steady improvement! No one is saying he is great but the guy is obviously busting his butt to get better!!! I always defended him defensively b/c I loved his defense but he has really been better on offense and if he keeps it up he can be a REALLY solid backup (probably for another team b/c unless RR, Ray, and Dooling aren't playing he won't get enough minutes)!!

Meh...  he's been hitting those shots at a much better clip recently.  55% from the floor this month, FWIW.  His shot looks a lot more confident.  Certainly, he isn't a finished product on the offensive end, but he seems to be improving, and I've no reason to believe he can't keep getting better.  

I don't think he'll ever be a point guard, but since he can defend shooting guards (despite being undersized) he should project out to being a 2.  Most of his weaknesses seem to be things that are more point-guard duties (ballhandling, getting the offense set up); I would certainly hope they ultimately bring in another legit backup 1 and just let AB play off the ball.

The kid *just* turned 21, is proving to be a significantly above-average defender, and he's looking more comfortable shooting the ball; I'm happy with where he's at.

Yeah, I don't think it's fair to say Westbrook beat up on him.  Bradley contained him very nicely in the half-court.

Westbrook played most of his minutes against Bradley.

I have him with 6 - 17 FG 1-2 3PT 8-9 FTA 4 Ast 1 TO 1 Stl and 21 points against Bradley. Bradley did block Westbrooks shot 3 times but that's still getting beat up. Especially when many of the free throws were drawn of Bradley (two were questionable but they happened)

I loved the effort and it certainly was a good enough job at the PG defensively to allow the C's to win if the bench hadn't completely gone off the rails in the late 1st quarter and early 2nd quarter.
