I like that he brought it up though. Better than people only trashing when someone has a bad game, or waiting till after the game to post a reactionary thread

nah i don't agree. You don't bring this up when he, for the first time i can remember, has given back to back good efforts on the offensive end. This is the first time he's given any evidence that he might, just might, be able to turn into a consistently decent player on the offensive end.

Bradley's looking more and more like a Tony Allen clone (and it took TA a *long* time to develop any consistency in his game).  Exceptional defense, spotty shooting, atrocious ballhandling.  But, AB's shot is starting to fall, he's playing with confidence, and his defense is having a tremendous impact.  Feeling better and better about this kid.

EDIT: Of course, I recall more than one "Why does Tony Allen suck so bad?" threads back in the day....

Avery doesn't have a high basketball IQ.   He is a good athlete but he is exposed when defending elite A level talent on defense.   He can dominate lesser guards with his defense.  Although Westbrook torched him I thought he played decent last night overall in terms of assists and shooting.   

I see him as a roleplayer defensive specialist.

I completely disagree.  I saw him in person defending Derrick Rose and made rose not want the ball in his hands on 4-5 consecutive posessions.  The bulls fan infront of me was squirming in his seat.  Granted the bulls won but it was still impressive.

He reminds me a lot of a Lindsey Hunter type player.  Which is fine with me, you need guys like that on your team.  Is he a superstar? Absolutely not, but he can be a serviceable rotation guy.

Yeah I guess we do completely disagree, im not a huge fan of people jumping on and off the bandwagon every game. Rather just people stick to their guns.

If you think avery bradley sucks dont tell me two days later that you think he's good. You can give him props but if you think he sucks don't let 5u jumpshots change your mind

Same thing with our team. If we win 10the in a row or beat Miami 3even times please don't tell me we are good or gonna do well if you've been bashing them this whole time. If you think they are too flawed to win a championship than don't tell me they "got better" or thatchange your tone.

IMo ...AB has made a remarkable gains in becomming a asset for any future NBA team.  He uses his best assets to help his team now, while working on the offense part of his game .  He is still about1-2 years away from being the rock steady player everybody wants.  He mainly needs the court time to focus his game and gain confidence that 'anytime' he is put on the court he knows he can get the job done at both ends.  He has the correct work ethic and attitude that can develope down the road. I think he has proved that to me anyway.

hes been consistently hitting jumpers and making good plays on the offensive end the last few games. Oh and his dunk over kd made the nba top 10

I wouldn't say Westbrook torched him (he did Dooling though). He scored points on Dooling and was bailed out a few times by the officials on Avery's contested jumpers. I will also add that Westbrook shot the ball 24 times hitting 11 (He took some ugly shots and had a couple of his shots blocked by Bradley). Bradley played well last night, it wasn't perfect but lets give credit where credit is due. The hate for Bradley is getting out of hand. He is a Celtic and we should support him.
