The completed Knicks:

PG: Kyle Lowry
SG: Brandon Rush
SF: Tayshaun Prince
PF: Paul Millsap
C: Dwight Howard

Bench (in order of PT):
Luke Ridnour PG/SG
Corey Brewer SG/SF
Klay Thompson SG/SF
Jon Brockman PF
Chris Andersen C
Semeh Erden PF/C
Tyler Honeycutt ?

On the whole, I like it. I think the guard and wing depth is good.

Not crazy about the backup bigs. Just a thought: trade a wing to SO for one of his extra PFs?

Nah. I'll bite the bullet and play a combination of Erden/Prince/Andersen out of position for a few minutes each game and give the Brockness monster 12 minutes or so to do his tiny-armed best out there while Millsap gasps for breath.

Ugh. Really could use some help at the backup PF spot. Foul trouble could really derail this team.

Without too much thinking, here's the new rotation:

PG: Jrue Holiday (33), Mo Williams (15), Beno Udrih (0)
SG: Joe Johnson (10), Ronnie Brewer (18), OJ Mayo (18)
SF: Shawn Marion (15), Joe Johnson (20), Tracy McGrady (13), Ronnie Brewer (0)
PF: Amar'e Stoudemire (20), Shawn Marion (15), Gustavo Ayon (13)
C: Kurt Thomas (12), Nikola Vucevic (18), Amar'e Stoudemire (13), Gustavo Ayon (5), Cole Aldrich (0)

Something like that. Still undecided on who to start at center and how to deal with a crowded and deep team. Willing to field offers on Udrih and Mayo/Brewer, as the former should be getting at least some playing time and the latter two are worth more than their role in Orlando.

Really curious what you guys think.
2023 Historical Draft: Toronto Raptors

Point Guard: Anfernee Hardaway, Fat Lever, Terrell Brandon
Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey
Small Forward: Marques Johnson, Danny Granger
Power Forward: Jermaine O'Neal, Bobby Jones, Kiki Vandeweghe
Center: Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka

My first inclination was that Marion would start at PF next to Amare at C.

But I like this much better. Johnson moves back to SG. And you could run that other lineup for a different look.

Nicely done. Super deep team.

Thanks. I'll definitely go small sometimes with Amar'e and Marion but Shawn's played almost all of his minutes this year at the 3 (about 50/50 last year). I wanted him to start at the 3 so Johnson could at least start at the 2, but they'll split their minutes between the positions.

Its something. Its like you drew a really complicated way to cook macaroni and cheese.

Really really good Mac and Cheese. Like 4 kinds of cheese.

Wow, IP lost his fast ball. You should've seen this guy in his prime, Switch. For two years there wasn't a better armchair GM.

Very good depth at the 3-5.

I think I'd like this team even more if there were a PG on the roster who looked to get others involved instead of getting his own first.

As it is, I think it's an improvement on the Real Blazers.

I'd like to see you cash in some of that depth for an upgrade. Even if it was an upgrade at the backup. Some of those guys will be underutilized.
