Philadelphia
Andre Miller
Kevin Martin
Danilo Gallinari
Ekpe Udoh
Spencer Hawes
Bench:
@DrayBaltche, Aaron Brooks, Kawhi Leonard, Andris Biedrins, Terrence Williams, Jordan Crawford
Lots of firepower between Martin/Gallo on the wings, but both players are down a bit on efficiency this year (despite winning more games, respectively). Miller is the perfect PG for these guys, as he'll get into the lane without a second though and doesn't mind sharing.
Hawes has been a pleasant surprise for Philly, but he's still a guy that's getting just 10 pts and 8 boards on a team that spreads it around more than any other, and he's not getting the line at all for a guy who is as offensively inclined as he is.
You've got defensive holes at 2,3,5, and a an elite defensive project, rather than an elite defensive player, at the 4.
On the bench I like Leonard. I used to like Brooks but I thought the way he handled himself in Houston and the way he played in Phoenix should be considered a very serious knock on him. I've got no faith in Terrance Williams or Jordan Crawford. Neither one is ready for heavy NBA minutes.
Biedrins should've been a huge win, but he just has a dark cloud over what used to be a promising career. He's too weak to body up most centers, and too slow to faceup against power forwards. His best abilities were all dependent on his high-motor, and that seems gone with the wind, almost intentionally fouling himself out of games at times (seriously, still getting 3 fouls in less than 20 minutes!).
I'm not sure how good or bad this team is though, because I think there is some real potential here. Udoh in his 1 start got 19 points and 8 boards. Gallo before his injury was looking like a real gamer. Kevin Martin still finds ways to get points even when his jumper leaves him. Andre Miller is still Andre Millering around doing his thing. They've got 5 guys who should be legit starters. Crappy bench, crappy defense, but they've got talent. I don't know if this is the year its realized.
EDIT: Figures as soon as I really do a full write-up, they'll do a major team trade.
