Jermaine O’Neal believes it’s time for a meeting. Captain Paul Pierce doesn’t believe it’s that time quite yet. They both agree that something has to change if the Celtics are going to make any impact on the playoffs in eight weeks. ...

you don't have to be a genius not to figure out the obvious..when everybody is clamoring for JO to be out of beantown, it is him who actually cares..pierce's reluctance only shows an air of arrogance and uncaring...its true they are on the same boat, similar predicaments but if you are a team who is expected to be performing light years ahead of what you are achieving now, i bet you should start talking now..if you really care, a sense of urgency should be shown, not necessarily pressing the panic button, but a reality check should be put in a proper context..all the variables are infront of us; age, health and the compressed season so i guess habits should at least change, mindsets revised and confidence level reinforced..we cannot possibly possess the swagger from our winning year because its never the same anymore, paul being the captain should initiate all these, not by a dude considered as "washed-up" which the celtics fandom wants to be out of their parquet floor,so the next time you want some heads to roll, you guys just might want to rethink who should they really be..

After one more game now Pierce is headed to the All-Star pomp and festivities, while the rest of the team is facing six days for where they are as a team to sink in.

If he cares so much then why did he sit out last night after a strain?   A wrist strain at that but I am not buying it.  Rondo played with one arm and JO gets a strain and sits.   That isn't caring or heart bud.

Rondo even played during an insignificant playoff game against the Heat.  JO can't even play (and endanger our only center during) a vital regular season game that we were only losing by a mere 20 points without two of our starters and our sixth man.  No HEART... (but probably some BRAIN.)

PP and JO both need to get in shape and quit draging like zombies up and down the court.

If you are too old to play 30 minutes of hard basketball , as a starter its time for you to retire , or take a seat on the bench as backup.

Either bring it and play ...or leave.

I think it is safe to say that JO's knees are shot look at his lift.  Sometimes he front rims post shots even dunks nowadays.  He was a great player in his IND days and an allstar but he is a shadow of himself on gimpy knees.
