I'm now convinced that DA is blowing the team up by the deadline... well actually more than convinced...

Look lets be real here, I know they went on a nice 9-1 run once this season but this team has absolutely no shot of winning anything this year except maybe a first round exit (if they get that far...yeah you know what im implying).

Rebounds will always be a problem, 4/5 of our starting lineup is 33+ years of age. ones already an injury wrecked ghost (JO), two are on their way (PP, KG) and Rays in pretty good shape... though hes largely ineffective now trying to run off screens except for little periods in each game where he goes on a streak...

The team is split between two different playing styles (Rondo and big 3 half-court), the bench is in disarray due to these two contrasting styles, no one boxes out, everyone seems lost and due to this we're losing...actually not just losing, losing mightily to the scrubs of the league. After the last two games against them im inclined to start calling the Pistons a better team. Forget their start they're playing all around better basketball. Monroe can get more offensive rebounds himself than the entire celtics team.

DA said this road trip was a test and the teams failing. And knowing DA we all know, that if we can see that this team is not contending, he can see it. We're now .500 exactly and we haven't hit the hardest part of the schedule yet... if this is how the team is going to be, I don't even know if they'll be .500 at the end of the year...

Idk what the trade is going to be, idk what teams will be involved (starting to think the Jazz but thats for a different article) but no matter how sad it is enjoy them while you can and thank them for their years of service and title because this teams blowing up and DA has the match and dynamite

He's going to make a move but it doesn't have to be the core four. Someone suggested Dooling + JO for Biedrins and a first and I quite like that.

Call me a blind optimist. I probably am.

Yeah I mean for all I know it could be a move without the core but knowing DA if there's no chance of contention anyway I could see him finding fancy ways to use the core in packages to help us get younger.

Idk guess we'll have to wait and see but there's no way hes doing nothing

If we lose all our games by double digits, yes it is curtains for this era of the Celtics. Really, the Era ended with the Perkins trade to OKC that completely busted on us. Then he traded Semih Beast of Erden and Harangody for a bag of SWA peanuts and two roster spots for Troy Murphy and Sasha Pavlocic. Well Sasha could give us something before the season is passed.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

the one person i'd hate to say should go is paul , have massive amount of cap space seems like a better option at this point

Paul should go to a team that will at least have a shot at a deep run in the playoffs for the last years of his career.

I just hope we can get some guys that can be a part of the future core. Maybe not specifically guys who are will be in the rotation now but players who can be big time with rondo's fast beal style in the future.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

yeah if we work out a deal with a team like the bulls or something I'd be happy for him at this point. Doing him a favor...

If Rondo isnt used in a package of sorts that would be my hope as well

That doesn't sound plausible.  I think the first round pick would have to be going from Boston to Golden State.  I think it was confirmed that Golden State turned down a Biedrins for Hashem Thabeet and Jordan Hill trade.

They did? That's too bad. The whole premise of that trade is the terrible contract Biedrins has.

Reckon they'll do it without the pick? I know I would.

yes I hope that rondo stays as well, he's the biggest piece we have moving forward.

We have no idea what deals are on the table, so trying to determine if Danny is going to "blow it up" or not is completely hypothetical and pointless

He'll make a move, but all this blow up talk is unlikely in my opinion.  Ainge wants to use the 31 mill he's gonna get from Ray and KG coming off so I don't see them going, and Pierce has a contract that I think will pretty much guarantee that he retires a Celtic.
