Cardinal would be starting on this team. Not because of talent but age.

Doc would play him so much he would run him into the ground, and JJJ would still stay on the bench

Well, that's over with. And Im with you guys on Etwan. Kid has confidence, good stroke.  Build him up, dont tear him down. And give him some minutes. Not like this club is going places.

Drum roll, please

Brian Cardinal passes Doc's age limit with flying colors.

I'm legitimately freaked out about having Doc coach rebuilding teams for the next 3-4 years.  I can't imagine how this guy is going to be good for young players.

  • KG IS THE KING
etwaun moore:  6 pts in 3 minutes

ray allen: 15 pts in 37 minutes

can we start etwaun already? ray allen has become to predictable to defend now.
This is not fair to Ray. Without KG to stretch the floor, the opposing defenders can just jump out and blitz on him without worrying about the screener. Ray has zero space to work with.

If he remains the coach, and I think he will, you got to trade picks and expiring contracts for established veterans. They are who he is best at coaching.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Why?  Mortgaging the future for the sake of competing now is what terrible teams do just to make money off playoff appearances.

It would be better for the team to just fire Doc.

I'm not arguing. I totally agree. But I don't think Wyc and Co. do it. They love Doc.

I have been saying it since Bradley was drafted....he can hit the mid range J. He has excellent form. He did it in college.

He doesn't have 3 point range. But 15-22 feet he is very good and he has excellent form.

In a couple of years I think he is one heck of a combo guard.

That was a bright spot tonight watching AB looking comfortable out there. It is too bad the rest of the team failed to respond. I felt like Dallas let up un us and did not embarrass us by 40 points. For that I respect Dallas and hope they can go back to back
The beatings will continue until morale improves

UMMMMMMMM......you did watch this team from 2004-2007? Right?

Rondo, West, Perkins, Jefferson, Powe, Gomes, Greene, Reed, and a bunch of other one year wonder young guys he got stuff out of and then disappeared from the NBA and did nothing ever again.

Doc can develop talent

But when in "Win Now When We Can't Ever Practice During The Season" mode you coach differently than "I Don't Care What The Result Is But develop The Young Guys" mode.

I will say, though, Doc does have a pretty impressive track record for developing young guys. He just makes them earn it. Rondo, Big Al, Perk, Delonte, TA, Baby, Powe...all young guys who saw minutes with Doc. They earned it by playing hard, playing smart, knowing their roles. Guys who didn't do that include Banks and Gerald Green...and look at how good they are now.
