We're not going to win with our starters in any of these 4 road games, actually in most games, so lets go down in style.

PG Bradley
SG Dooling
SF Sasha
PF Alien man

If I were going to set this team up to lose, I would at least go with a backcourt of Rondo and Bradley and tell them to take a jumper whenever they are open so that they improve on shooting at the NBA level.

No thanks.  I actually like to watch the Celtics play competitive basketball

LOL agree. If we are going to go down, I want Rondo shooting 2-3 threes a game.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

Why settle for 2 or 3? Give him the green light every trip down the floor!!! (Giving TPs)
I like Marcus Smart

The real fans of this team want to see them play hard every night and put a competitive team on the court. I didn't watch through the dreck of the mid 90's to 2008 to see this team have a D-League equivalent bench starting for them.

I really am convinced that the majority of the people on this board were actually happier when the Celtics sucked and we had the athletic Big Al and the soon to be bust Gerald Green playing for us.

I really would have no problem with starting
Rondo
Bradley
Pietrus
Bass
Wilcox

(or Wilcox and Stiemsma until Bass returns)

and using the oldsters as part time players ~24 mpg.
If we are not competitive as is, then the improvement (if any) will come from the new guys; and the old guys have been ineffective if used for more than 30 mpg.
