can't really think of any more, but i like the chicago deal a lot if they could get that.

plenty of teams could use Pierce.  The Lakers, the Clippers, the Thunder, the Mavericks, the Nuggets, the Bulls, the Pacers, the Sixers, the Hawks, the Magic, and probably a few others where Pierce would make a huge difference in the playoff prospects of a team.  That said many of those teams don't have the pieces the Celtics would want and/or that they would be willing to give up in the trade.

Of those, Thunder, Nuggets, Bulls, Pacers, Sixers and maybe the Hawks have pieces that we could use.

The picks aren't leaving with Pierce they are coming back because of Pierce.

...the Bulls feel pressure to keep up in the East and panic a little and feel they need Pierce even more and give us more than they normally might. We know Thibs loves him and vice versa.

Do they give us Asik, Taj, Butler filler and their two 1sts (theirs and Bobcats protected forever)for the Captain. Is that enough? Do they do it? Don't think we will get Deng out of them, even if he is injured, or maybe that is why we would get Deng out of them.

  I am warming to the idea of trading Pierce to be quite honest.  He's not going to play up to his salary for the remainder of his contract.  Some nights he will but others he wont.  That's the case already.  Look down the road two years.  

  Call me cold blooded.  I root for the laundry so if it helps us get our next title I'm on board.  Loyalty to older players breeds mediocrity in professional sports.  He'll always be a Celtic regardless of where he finishes his career.

I am coming around on this one.  I am not a huge Gay fan, but he is one of the few guys that could realistically be available, that can both run with Rondo, while also providing a go-to scorer down the stretch of games.

And, it is concievable that Memphis decide to really try to win now, and try and have Pierce put them over the top. 

Danny could probably also throw in Bass, and get Mayo back as well, since they are pretty thin up front.

Ever since the original idea was proposed, I've been watching Rudy more intently. I've also really grown to love the idea. Then Pierce can come back after his present contract is up and retire a Celtic.

I dont believe he's going to Chicago when they have a better SF already.

Anyways, if we're going to trade one of them, it only makes sense for it to be Pierce.  It really would make me want to give up on the season tho regardless of what we get back.  It just would be sad.
