I have doubts this is even a playoff team

It would be almost impossible for them to fall below the 8th seed. All the other teams are so bad.

This is exactly why I'm horrified, as unlikely as it might be, that Danny might try to "reload on the fly" this summer.

Lock us into 4-5 years of borderline playoff purgatory.

Early in the season, people said lets wait until 25 games. It is now game 29. What say those who wanted to wait?

Nice D, JO...

Yep. Worth 6 million plus.  ;D

Worth more than the D that Paul's played on Deng. ;D

Pierce looks worse than he did in his first games of the year

Nobody's gonna blame him though. Everybody else will be blamed...JO, Rondo, Bradley...but PP? Nah.

bummer we aren't going against Rose tonight.  We are 0-5 against contenders... lost to the Heat, Bulls (with Rose), Thunder, Mavs and Lakers.   I desperately want a reason to believe this team can actually win a title.
Pull the plug.  When Rondo put up 32, 15, 10 and 2 we were able to barely beat the Rose-less Bulls.

Now we are losing to the Rose-less Bulls.  Pathetic.  Throw in the towel.  We've yet to beat a single contender all season and we are relatively healthy.  Unless the plan is to sign Chris Kaman next month, we need to start getting assets for our elderly players ASAP.

I've seen enough.  If they want to wait until next week after the Dallas and Thunder games, I understand... but this team is what it is.

Doc Rivers you stink!!!

Odds Danny makes a major move of some kind if the team is below .500 around the trading deadline?

Kinda a mean thing to say about the time honored tradition of stinking. What did stink ever do to you?

I can't see that happening. Ainge knows this team isn't a legit contender anymore.

We need offense! D-League player of the week Gerald Green would help! But of course he's no Jeremy Lin or Mike James who killed us tonight who is fresh out if the same league.

since that would be me -- I think this team will make the playoffs simply because there are only 7 teams in the East that could reasonably beat this team out of the playoffs.  The other 7 teams in the East aren't good enough, which speaks volumes about those teams.

I don't see Danny being able to move anyone that we'd want moved.  I think the one player he could move that won't leave us in a major hole (i.e. Rondo) is Bass.  He won't be bringing back a major piece.  I don't see anyone wanting Ray, KG or JO's expiring deals nor Danny wanting to take on bad salary to get an asset.

This is who we'll be for the year.  Next, I think we'll be better off.  Bring back Rondo, PP, Green, Bass, Wilcox,  JJJ, Bradley, Moore and maybe Steimsma.  Add 2 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder and you have a youth movement.  Add some decent placeholders for a year from free agency and that's a team that will get us through until the better FA market in 2013 where we can make a bigger splash.

Defense is overrated, when you can't score ;)

It's a bit strange that Wilcox and JJ are the guys with a positive +- rating, and they don't get more time. Obviously they had their problems on defense, but they make a guy like Boozer run back on transition.

I'm all for a youth/ veteran movement. I just don't think Doc is.
