Who told Pierce and Rondo to stop being aggressive? That was a very bad idea...

JJ is always being pushed under the basket. Rookie ain't getting any respect.
Not used to guys pushing him around, gotta learn to be physical back.  Although every time he does that the refs blow the whistle.

I hate it when people just fall back onto the 'refs are bad' crap.  sheesh we played like crap for the last 8 minutes of the 2nd quarter.  bad D, not shots falling, no aggressive play.  what calls do you expect us to get when we are so passive?  It doesn't work that way in the NBA.

This refs are disgusting... of course the Celtics are the reason for their horrific display, but the refs make it worse.

By the way, how ridiculous are the division banners hanging up there? I hate the Bulls almost as much as the Fakers, and they're are almost as much fakers as the guys in purple and gold.

Ok, have a nice halftime!

The secret is..to start the body on noah at the top of the key, and more so as he comes down....not let him set up soo close to the hoop..it isn't hands, it is butt...! Hips...

I watched this whole piece on ESPN on how great Popovich has done mixing the youth and veterans on the Spurs. They have won 9 in a row and are considered 1 of the top 3 teams in the west.

It must be nice.

No rebounding, so Steimer rots on the bench! Ray abysmal, so Moore rots on the bench! I have always liked Doc, but hated his aversion to using his young players except when forced to by injuries. It may be time for him to go!!!!!

ive had enough of ray. problem is i dont thnk the teams that want him can give us good young pieces back

I posted an idea in the trade forum that a realistic Ray Allen trade is sending him and Stiemsma to New Jersey for the expiring contracts of Mehmet Okur and DeShawn Stevenson, plus a draft pick.  Since Okur/Stevenson make a few million more than Allen/Stiemsma and the Celtics can kick in cash, it would effectively amount to buying a draft pick. It's hard for me to imagine the Celtics getting more than that without a GM being grossly incompetent (although that can happen).

Yes, that's what makes the Spurs the greatest organization in the NBA.

I must be watching a different game. Seemed like the Celts got almost every call in the first quarter

They better get them back in the third, then. Completely different game in the second, hopefully they're not repeating that 2nd quarter.

I suggested Ray and Dooling for Ben Gordon and a future pick. This was way before Gordon got hot last night. Check the game thread. I was laughed at.

Bulls are just a much better, more balanced team than the Celtics . . . without Rose.

Says so much.
