     its really funny how the fortunes of the knicks have changed overnight,they practically have stumbled on a gem that was kept way deep down a hole..be it as it may, whatever positive streak they are in right now, luck played more significantly on the knicks, not d'antoni's smarts..i'd probably count melo's injury as a blessing rather than call d'antoni a genius for tapping lin onto the playing court..this is basketball serendipity at its finest...

I think it could be the other way around. In D'Antoni, Lin has a coach that will let him make mistakes and not yank him. How many coaches in the league would've given Lin that amount of leash? I know for a fact Doc and Pop (remembering how hard he was on Parker) wouldn't.
