Pierce and Ray have been awful but do people get why rookies can't always be relied upon, especially if they aren't great natural defenders.

The rookies defense have been dismal all game.

I think JJJ and Steamer are great natural defenders. This system is just very difficult and may not be very effective if KG is not anchoring it.

Wilcox is a smart vet. Pierce is calling for the ball and he looks him off and is trying to get the ball to Rondo.

Why?

He knows Pierce doesn't have it tonight.

Watch closely if he has Pierce open he is still looking elsewhere.

pietraus has also been pretty much invisible tonight. maybe a result of the knee injury.

I look foward to this loss being somehow blamed on Rondo...

Allow me.

In short, I believe his offense has ran the team right out of rythm tonight.

All Rondo did tonight was make shots that he normally doesn't make. If he was taking those jump shots and they weren't falling we'd be having the same discussion as we normally are. He dribbled the ball on the shot clock down to 5/6 seconds every trip and didn't get Ray and Pierce in rythm.

Defensive end. Hasn't denied Stuckey the ball all night.

This team SUCKS

Without KG, and with Ray/Pierce struggling so badly offensively, yep.  Not enough quality on either side of the ball.

You are kidding right.

I'm not talking defenders as in let's play one on one, wow, he's a great defender playing one guy. I mean great natural shutdown and team oriented defenders.

Stiemsma can block shots weak side but he gives up position down low and his rotations and pick and roll defense is awful.

Johnson is not strong enough down low nor is he the best one on one defender. Again he gets lost on rotations.

LOL.
