Incredibly athletic move by Johnson there. Too bad he got blocked on it.

Rondo's greatness aside, this game is way too close. Not good.

Other than the start of the season Ray's effort has been disappointing.

Captain is just having an off night.

Ray and Pierce are invisible

They havent had a chance. Rondo has gone off in shoot first mode and when he dishes, its to Chris and Jj.  Hope winning trumps touches.

why is dooling in vs. bradley? seriously....the pistons shot an absurdly high percentage in the 3rd quarter. we need some serious defense, esp. vs. stucky...so why not turn bradley loose on him? dooling is understandably rusty, but playing him this many minutes may come back to haunt us.

Don't worry Pierce will carry us and close this out midway through the 4th

Hard to win a game if you are the Celtics when KG and Bass are hurt and JO, Ray, and Pierce don't show up.

This game is basically what we can expect post Big Three.

The Pistons are playing significantly better defense than we are now that we don't have the Rondo/Knight match-up in the post.

Maybe we need to start going under on those Stuckey screens.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
....and then the defense went away and now we end the quarter down one. Eh, the 4th quarter is making me nervous. Hope we don't see the ugly side of things now. We've got enough good things happening to take this going away but only if we play right.

We just aren't good enough on D tonight.  We are allowing too much penetration right now.  It is getting easier looks for the pistons.  M Pietrus struggling a bit on D tonight.  We need to crank up the effort or this could do either way.  uggg

It was more Wilcox actually, but JJJ mattered
