Hasn't gotten much playing time this year, but has been pretty good when he's gotten in the game. I'll take Cole Aldrich for size, potential, and 5-10 minutes a game if I need it.
Def would've taken him in the 10th. Kinda sucked last year, hasn't been great this year, but I'll take a shot on him, and you're right to.
I haven't been able to see him play too often and advanced metrics often lie when in small sample sizes of 7.5 minutes a game over 10-15 games but the numbers at least suggest he's already improving. Can't hurt to hope he continues to get better.
Yeah but he's 3rd on the depth chart (really 4th if you really look at the position) and he's only played in 12 out of 32 games, mostly in blowouts. Lots of CD-DNP's in there, which isn't an encouraging sign.
My point is that his production in the same amount of minutes (and already almost the same amount of games) is up this year significantly from last year, especially when using advanced stuff. Like I said, it's rather meaningless in the grand scheme of things because of the limited sample size and the fact that he's behind solid players in Perk, Collison and Nazr. I'm just encouraged by apparent progress and that he seems to be heading in the right direction. Not calling him an All-Star
