Seems like crappy value for the Kings, but remember, Monta was a mid-1st, Nick was an early 2nd, and frankly, its pretty hard to trade Monta Ellis for even value.

Its like as if he were a sword, and one edge were really sharp and could cut your enemies, but one edge was really sharp and also cut you.

I'm not sure what one would call that.

I think Livingston and Favors may be your current weakspots but having Haslem helps a bit.  Overall, that's a pretty good fivesome you can put on the floor for offense.  Not so sure Nash, Granger or Favors is going to stop a lot of other players though

You're obsessed with small ball lately.  I think it's a bad idea, personally.  Livingston as a small forward would, in my opinion, be a disaster; there's no reason to play guys out of position when you've got the personnel to succeed otherwise.

And Nash, wade, Livingston, granger, and favors would be devastating. Elite passing, with a mobile high energy athletic big, and good outside shooting.

And doesn't Livingston play a fair amount of PG for Milwaukee?

Livingston plays some SG in Milwaukee, and routinely gets killed.  He's got a negative PER differential and is allowing an eFG% of above .500.  I can only imagine how much worse it would be if he was playing SF.

Any lineup with Nash already has a defensive vulnerability.  Why make that worse by making your team weak defensively at SF, PF, and potentially C as well?  Especially when the players you're using aren't great offensively, either (Livingston isn't a great offensive player, and Favors isn't, either.)

I think Miami is one of the best teams created here, better than the Cavs. But with Nash at PG you have to maximize your defense in all other areas as a smart team will simply take you half court and 1-3 or 1-4 pick and switch you at the top of the key and abuse you if you have bad defenders elsewhere.

You can't play small ball in Miami with Granger and Favors. If Lebron and his defense was still there you could do it as Lebron might be the best help defender in the league and can still body PFs, but not with Granger.

I still think Miami would be better off short term like the next 1-3 years with a more established NBA PF than Favors.
