Kyrie Irving / (George Hill)
Landry Fields / George Hill
Luol Deng / Jeff Green
Kris Humphries / Brandon Bass
Andrew Bynum / Nenad Krstic

Obviously we have our eye on next year and beyond, but I like our team.  Back in the 2nd or 3rd round we came up with a list of targets for each round, and all of our guys have been there to our surprise.  Maybe that should tell us something.

You guys have an eye for mid-level talent?

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
The Cavs will draft Nenad Krstic who has a buyout and is killing it in the Euroleague

But does he have any interest at all in returning to the States? Should we start a letter writing campaign?
Not to worry, our people are already contacting his people.  ;D

Maybe to the USA, but can you really convince a guy to leave his homeland to go to Cleveland?

The great thing about this game is that we can just relocate.  San Diego is nice, I hear.

Well to be fair, you guys keep on changing the locations of your teams and names and stuff and I just flatly ignore you.

The good people of Seattle all cry out as one. Will their voices not be heard?

Who is, Sherman Alexie?

That's good, because people have been ignoring the Commish's office for 7 rounds now.  You're a powerless figurehead who can't even keep the front page draft board organized!

Hey hey now, front page should be updated. There are little draft fairies that float in at night and update the names for a bowl of milk and honey.

Well, now that my team is pretty much assembled, barring a trade, I'd like to hear what you all think (preferably if its not what I've been hearing, but, you know...).  Advice on who to start is also welcome, if you disagree with my rotations.

PG: Russell Westbrook
SG: Vince Carter
SF: Chase Buddinger
PF: Shawn Marion (can also play SF)
C: Tiago Splitter
Bench: Mo Williams (PG/SG), Willie Green (SG), Dorell Wright (SG/SF/PF), Gustavo Ayon (PF), Chris Anderson (C)

Personally, I think I have one of the best benches in the league, if not the best, and a very good defensive team overall.  The offense isn't going to blow anyone out of the water except for those nights when Westbrook goes for 40 and 9, but it is very efficent and doesn't have any huge holes.  I understand the reluctance to garauntee it a playoff spot, but I think it has a very solid chance at a low seed and could pull of an upset or two.
2014 Pick 2 OKC Thunder
PG: Russell Westbrook
SG: Jeremy Lamb / Jodie Meeks
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Taj Gibson / Derrick Favors
C: Greg Monroe / Brandan Wright
7.19, 8.19, 9.19, 10.19

The Sixers aka Rocky Balboa's disagree. The Sixers aka Rocky Balboa's believe that they are a playoff team, especially now that Aaron Brooks, another scoring threat has been added to the team.

You guys have assembled a pretty terrific team, with very nice fitting parts. I'm now convinced you guys are destined for a playoff win this season and could be a title contender as early as next season.

PG Lou Williams, Jameer Nelson, Jerryd Bayless
SG Wes Matthews, Imam Shumpert
SF Gerald Wallace
PF LaMarcus Aldridge, Tristan Thompson
C Elton Brand, Amir Johnson

Nate McMillan prefers a tight eight man rotation, but I've given him some fresh legs should he want to go to the bench for the postseason push.

I find it funny that anyone would think a team with LeBron, surrounded with as much talent as he ever had around him in Cleveland in their last three good years, would be out of the playoffs in the West.
