So who is ready for me to do a completely unnecessary reach with 6.3 because I've talked myself into picking a guy I don't need to?

Literally CAN'T wait.

Why do I get the feeling there will be a lot of skipped picks today?

I wonder how many folks have today off?  Does anybody get President's Day off other than teachers and other government workers?  Do private union workers get it off?  I honestly have no idea.

I learned about the holiday when I noticed there were fewer cars than usual on the road.

IP has me officially intrigued.  Once we get into this territory, there aren't a lot of true "reaches", but I'm curious anyway.

(I personally like it when teams grab binkies higher than they should.  A few years ago I grabbed Brandon Wright way earlier than most folks would have, but I was a big believer in the kid.  Of course, I was totally wrong as Wright has accomplished a whole lot of nothing, but it was still a fun pick.)

Good morning people. Please do not pick my guys until round 8. Since I have no picks today I'll watch the Elimination Chamber PPV for a whole. Do not spoil.

I can offer 2 8ths for a 7th.

Oh, don't worry. He's a reach. I keep asking myself "Is he the best player on the board?" (No.), and "Okay, well is he gonna be there at 6.13 or 7.3?" (highly likely)

Then myself says, "But will some other joker reach for him too?" (prolly).

Actually, credit to you Roy, Wright has looked very good in Dallas this season, making baskets, rebounding, blocking shots. I always wondered what you saw in him.

He's only averaging 12.8 mpg but per36 his numbers equate to 16.1 points (on 57% shooting), 7.1 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks.

Yeah, I've enjoyed watching him in Dallas.  He's still not the starting-caliber player I'd thought he would be, but he's a nice role player.  I'm sure he'll stick around with the Mavs, but we could do worse than to take a (very small) gamble on him in the off-season.

I'd be on board with that. And his minutes are trending in the right direction. On any given night he's getting more play than either Haywood or Mahinmi.

Per36 his numbers equate to 16.1 points (on 57% shooting), 7.1 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks.

Maybe I'll draft him.
