Roy and Nick do it every year. My first year in the CB draft Roy had 4 1st rounders and something like 5 of the top 40 picks.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
TRADE:

Toronto send Bynum 4.1, 5.1, 10.1
Cleveland sends Bogut, 2.22, 3.11, 8.18

Memo to all the other GMs:

STOP TRADING WITH NICK AND ROY! THEY-ARE-NOT-YOUR-FRIENDS!

I'd like to see how it plays out for Toronto, those could be some valuable picks. But I liked how Toronto was looking as is, don't know if a gamble was the way to play.
Toronto is clearly a team building toward a future.

They have Bogut, Bargnani, DeRozan and Jennings(the best two players from two different teams) and 3 of the next 34 picks. Before most teams have 5 starters they will have 5 starters and 2 bench players.

I think the trade works for both teams real well

I think Bynum was better for this. Since Bargs can hit outside, he can move away the paint and it will be solely owned by Bynum who is a monster in his own way. Bogut is not really a dominant back to basket center, even when healthy.

They do, both help Bargs in the rebounding. I just thought Bynum is a much better fit. Thas jas me.

Yeah, it could do. Talent wise, it's a solid deal ... Bogut's health is the only question mark and a massive one at that.

Im going to be interested to see what veteran locker-room presence Cleveland brings in to keep bynum inline.
We're thinking Doc Rivers  ;) :D ;D

I dunno, Phil Jackson, Kobe, and Pau couldnt keep him from melting down and getting thrown out of a playoff game, and saying in the press that the team didnt trust eachother during the playoffs.

Not just trying to be a jerk here, Bynum has a heck of alot to prove in my book, though i love him on my fantasy team  ;D
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Especially since that wrist injury, Bogut hasn't been able to regain anything close to his past offensive performance since then. Shadow of his former self on that end of the court. It's not looking likely that he will ever get back to where he was prior to that injury.

Still a high level defender / rebounder though.

One of these days we will fight to the death over Wilson Chandler. I don't understand what's not to like about the guy.

Well the reasoning behind me making this trade has a lot to do with Bynum's attitude. I'm not a big fan of him and don't know if he's the guy I want leading my team. Bogut however brings a lot to the table. I view him as a vastly underrated big man. His defense and rebounding will make up for Bargs's lack of those abilities. And when he comes back, Bogut doesn't need to be a scorer with bargnani already on the team. Plus Jennings and Bogut have good chemistry together.
