Well since the Raps took Brandon Jennings from us, have to go in a different direction.

The Philly Rocky Balboa would like to pick Mike Conley, Jr.,  to solidify the backcourt defense and a solid 1. Please...

Announcement (take 2)

First off I apologize for being so indecisive about this. I wanted to find a way to accommodate everyone, and in the end it just made me drag it out. That's my bad, and anyone who feels like they're going to miss picks because of it, talk to me after class.

Starting Monday, we're going to a standard 2 rounds a day, morning/afternoon draft schedule. 5 minutes a pick.

Round 6: Monday morning
Round 7: Monday afternoon
Round 8: Tues Morning
Round 9: Tues afternoon
Round 10: Wed Morning
Round 11: Wed afternoon.

I am also shortening the draft to 11 rounds, because nobody wants or needs to draft 15 players total.

So for 3 glorious days next week, there will be no evening session, and there will be two picks a day.

If you know you can't make a pick at a certain time, talk to me, and we can work out a list/I could even draft BPA available for you.

Wait, I'm still playing catch up. How was this trade approved? Round 13? I was under the impression we were doing one round a week for two weeks, stopping with Round 10.

Boston trades:  Andrew Bogut, #2
Cavs trade:  Anderson Varejao, 13.18

I know this draft is just for fun, but put away the play money guys.

I think the draft is going to be 13 rounds.  Two rounds per day starting next week, ending on Thursday, I think.

Also, the agreed upon trade didn't involve the 13th rounder.  However, IP is under the impression that all trades need to involve an even number of draft picks (well, except for the two approved trades that had uneven numbers of draft picks so far), so we threw it in.  Of course, this leaves us with 12, rather than 13, picks now, but who's counting?  :P ;D

EDIT - Ha, my timing couldn't have been worse.

Rocky Balboa would like to move up in the round. 2.15 and 3.15 is on the block for any deals that can move the Italian Stallions to somewhere top 10.

Appreciate the interests.

So, this is fight is going 13 rounds? Uh oh, I only trained for 10.

For the record, I preferred stopping with an active roster 12 (or 13) with just an F.A. period to wrap it up. Attendance falls off a cliff at the end. But I guess IP wanted to be sure his boy Stiemsma didn't have to go back to the D-League.

Haha, talk about poor timing...

Works great for me. My only issue involving my classes would be the 11th round, and I can just package that into a trade. So, awesome, thanks.

Ha, see my (also late) edit.

Just so I'm clear, I can continue to offer my 12th and 13th round picks in trades, but I should target managers who aren't paying close attention?

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
2(4) on the block, along with Horford, Nene, and Ty Lawson. Let me know if you're interested.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

This announcement is too long for me to read so I'm just going to assume I disagree with all of it.
