The Washington Wizards select Serge Ibaka

McGee and Ibaka. Can I have an invitation for the Block Party?

TP. Good one.
Not if you already have an invitation to the pump fake party.

Carmello is an overhyped chucker who can't pass or defend, you did good work IP.

Why did New York trade Carmelo Anthony?

Melo is perfect for Dwight and Dwight is perfect for Melo. That was either the best or second best duo in the game along with Miami's LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

I really don't like Carmelo Anthony that much, and I didn't like the idea of not picking my third cog until tomorrow.
Don't need a third star ... all you need are complementary role players with a starting duo that strong. No need for a Big Three or Big Four when your top two are that good.

Would have worked out extremely well.

What about Big Al and Melo.  Defensive powerhouse right?
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

The Atlanta Hawks select Rajon Rondo to bring back the Oak Hill Lob Factory
I was hoping Rondo would go to San Antonio. I thought he would have been a fun fit with Duncan and Ginobili.

Nice pickup!

I thought about it, but the size talent was to good.

Ibaka at #5, huh? A bit of a curveball. He's a talented, young, defensive-minded PF but I'm a little surprised to see him go so early.

A nice building block, though. He and McGee will erase a lot of shots inside, but neither is a natural scorer.

My reaction too. A lot of pressure on Wall to create and score.

I'm pretty surprised that Rondo last until 6th.  I guess Celtics fans really are down on him.

I was worried that his game yesterday might up his value.

Josh Smith, Rondo and 3 more high picks will make a nice core. Atlanta is going to be better than the real version. Good job so far.
