Maybe my favorite game of the year. I love seeing the veterans and youth playing major minutes together.

Good all around game, nice bounce back, loved having JJJ out there for 33 minutes, he looked like he could grow into a nice piece.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

Even more than the Orlando comeback?

There's such a disparity between Rondo's stats and his performance it's impossible to decide whether or not he's a good player.

Rondo was incredible today, so I don't know what your point is.

It's simply amazing to me how Rondo can put up 30/15/10 against one of the best defenses in the league and people still complain about him.

This.

What would you rather have?  Good Rondo playing like this 33-50% of the time (Bad Rondo otherwise)?  Or a point guard who would give us 75% of what Good Rondo gives us, but give us that kind of play 80-90% of the time?

Serious question.  I'm not sure what the answer is.
Given that Rondo is playing like a superduper star about 50% of the time, a good player, the type of player you say is 75% of Good Rondo, about 40% of the time and that he just doesn't show up maybe 10% of the time during the regular season but always shows up in the playoffs, I'll take Rondo.

The amount of time people think Rondo has bad games is so grossly over exaggerated on this blog that it is pathetic. He has had 4 bad games this year 2 of which can be attributed to returning from an 8 game layoff due to injury.

In past years my guess is the numbers are closer to what I say regarding how he plays than how you describe his play.

Is it just me or are the celtics more interesting whenever a starter is out?
