This conjures up an old memory....once, many years ago the Cs traded away a solid starting point guard for a draft pick, and the new starter was 3 year vet, whose play was anything but awe-inspiring....so much so that the competition was licking their chops at playing the Cs.

The guy traded?  Gerald Henderson.  The new starting guard?  One Danny Ainge.  (And the pick I believe was the one which turned in to the Len Bias selection...).

Who knows, but Danny may see a little of himself in young Avery...

look @ how his cutting ability is improving

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzoZrY59BoM

One thing I do like about this video is that Avery GIVES THE BALL UP QUICKER WHEN HE PASSES THE HALF COURT.. which gives the Celtics 15-20 seconds to move the ball and get a quality shot, unlike Rondo who give the Celtics the usual 4 seconds

The Lin story is a good reminder that young, untested guys shouldn't be dismissed just because they are young and untested.

I disagree.  Did anyone see that wonderful cut last night where he posted up out of bounds.  That was a serious bonehead move.

Hate to say it but avery/bass/moore have been the only real sources of energy this year other than pierce.

Without avery this team would look horrific energy wise.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?
