I'm all for an upgrade over Rondo, but Lin isn't one of those...

In related news, the Patriots announced today that they have traded Tom Brady to the Miami Dolphins for Matt Moore.
"      “I can make a trade every day if I want to, but that's not going to help us. A trade that would get us better rarely comes along. They're very difficult to find. Good trades are very difficult in our league and don't happen very often.”

Given how well he has played thus far this would never happen.

Hilarius: Every single time some player makes a splash in any team: WE WANT to trade for him; but giving not much in return. We hated Gasol for being soft; now we want him. We want Bynum; we want Lin. What do we want to offer: Scalabrine.. Wait, No, we havent been offering  him as of late. Maybe we want to keep him. Lets offer a bunch of bench players cause thats all we want to part with. Gimme a braek!

are we really that desperate? a few "big" games don't spell much on how a player should be rated or looked at..so rondo had a couple of so-so games, we just throw him away then? suddenly an upstart guy gaining so much hype from the media should get our nod and replace the guy who really carried us all the way? have some faith guys, we are in a hole, but not as deep as you perceive it to be..

No one is coming to Boston and that includes Lin.  Amazing how quickly Celtics fans are to jump on players who are good.  Do you really think knicks would give him up especially now to a division rivavl?  Lets see, Lin although its been a few games, 28 ppg and 8 ast for Rondo, 9ppg and 9 ast.  Thats almost an even trade.

As crazy as it sound, I for one think LIn is not going anywhere soon, not with the way he has changed the culture over there, It may be just a knee-jerk reaction but the fact that Lin is perhaps just scratching the surface of what he can be all while scoring 25 ppg and 7 ast ( though he could learn to stop turning the ball over too much). They would say no to Rondo im afraid.
