I understand that there is a lot of frustration with Rondo and how he plays (especially against LA and during the 4th quarter...) but I would love to see what he has to offer in a setting where he could do his own thing.
I think part of the problem is that ever since Ray and KG arrived, there has been this hierarchy or pecking order which dictates who has priority on offense (e.g. Big 3 then everyone else).
As a result, even though Rondo has improved tremendously, he gets caught up in that deferral mode at times (see avoiding getting to the line) and it just takes away from what he can bring to the table.
I believe that it's too late to move one of the Big 4 this season and that it would only end up in a catastrophe if a move were made.
I am just happy that they won it all in their first year together and understand that this could be the last season seeing this group together.
