I know BS is a polarizing figure around here, but this should be pretty solid.

I haven't listened to it yet, but Red's Army did post some tidbits, including Bird saying he would have retired in 1988 if Len Bias had lived.

Here's a something I picked up on.  Larry said that there aren't any point guards in this years draft and there might not be next year either so "if you have a good point guard now, you better keep him" or something like that.

brilliant!

On playing approximately 43 minutes a game that year: "It's all right, I got paid for 48."

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

This was a great interview. Larry did most of the talking.

For Bill, it was akin to Catholic with an audience with the Pope.  I'm sure he was thrilled to just listen to Larry Legend.

I'm telling you this was one of the best interviews I have ever heard - it's all audio and wish it had been video...  Larry was great, great, great.............Man, I am telling you, every C's fan must must must listen to this.

God, I miss Larry Bird playing for the C's.....God, did we miss out on keeping him around here forever.
