1st time poster so why not come out swinging with a win-now BLOCKBUSTER DEAL. Hinges on health of Eric Gordon.

Bos trades: Allen, Rondo, O’Neal, 1st round picks
Bos receives: Howard, Jarrett Jack, George Hill

Indiana trades: Granger, Hibbert, Hill, 1st round pick
Indiana receives: Gordon, Kaman, Ariza

Orlando trades: Dwight Howard, Redick
Orlando receives: Granger, Hibbert, Allen, Celtics 1st

New Orleans trades: Gordon, Kaman, Jack, Ariza,
New Orleans receives: Rondo, O’Neal, Redick, LAC pick and Indiana 1st

Boston Lineup

Howard/Wilcox/Stiemsma
KG/Bass/JJ
Pietrus/Pavlovic
Pierce/Hill/Daniels
Jack/Bradley/Moore

Celts get great defensive minded team that could contend this year. Moving forward, KG re-inks for less money allowing room for Howard and other marquis FA. Green steps into starting lineup at 3.
Indiana obtains Gordon who is rumored to want to play for home state Pacers/seems to have no interest in signing long term for NOH.  Gets versatile 6th man in Ariza.  Kaman expires at end of season, leaves room for multiple free agent signings.
Orlando gets 3 fringe all stars 2 of which have expiring deals plus mid 1st round draft pick in loaded draft.  Move Turkolu for draft pick or back up big.
NO gets stud PG in Rondo and 1st rounders to go along with certain top 5 pick in upcoming draft. Landry, O’Neal, Bellinelli, Dooling’s deals expire leaving tons of cap room to build around Rondo.

The New Orleans Sterns probably say no.  It was fun while it lasted.

Horrible trade for Indiana.

Say they keep Hill or 1st rounder.  Still horrible?  I don't think they're in love with Granger.  He's a volume scorer but lacks efficiency.

Gordon when healthy is all-star/potential franchise guy caliber.

in a trade for howard theres no way orlando does not get the best player maybe even the 2 best players for him

only they do it is if they get BOTH rondo & gordon ..they'd probably do it but i dont see anyway it benfits NOH unless the NBA has been planning this moment all along thus unlocking the secret that stern has been a born celtics fan

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Not too bad, but as pointed out, Indiana wants rondo and theyre giving up too much. Orlando wants a big plus star for Howard. Maybe rondo plus hibbert to Orlando, but then NOH is left empty.
Don't worry there will always be people hating on trade ideas, just keep posting them to create ideas/ discussion.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
