  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
This guy has balls.
I mean he wants the ball in his hands and he doesn't care who is around him.
He hit one shot of the last 6 or 7.
No one else shot except Gasol who missed a put back of Kobe's.

Lou Williams was an absolute beast in this game as well.
Would have been nice if LA had won but Kobe was the anti-hero as he often is. Shooting contested jumpshot after jumpshot and shooting the Lakers out of the 4th quarter.

I can't wait to play the Lakers at home, our defense is going to smother them so bad!
Lakers are now on a 4 game losing streak. Let's make it five!
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

I have him in my fantasy league and his shooting numbers have been just crazy. But ya, I hope (just for this one night  ;) ) that he goes 8-28 or something and drags his team down thursday
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

When hes on, he makes a LOT of those contested jump shots. But I am quite ready to play them.

He does make them sometimes, but they have gasol and bynum inside, surely use them on at least one of the last 8 offensive sets. Must drive bynum crazy.

I wanna see Bradley on Kobe!  ;D
And while you're at it, Doc, put Jajuan on Pau!

When he starts games and is fresh usually the first half his shots do fall....but after that halftime trap him a little bit let him force and force shots and he will put up brick after brick ( well from what I seen lately)

I am a little worried about Bynum though ya know they'll go to the bigs a lot as Kobe's hero ball clearly hasn't been working.

Here's hoping for (and expecting) - a repeat performance for Black Mamba on Thursday!

Kobe is a ball hog pure and simple. It's obvious couldn't have played college ball , most schools expect you to learn to play "TEAM" play. All those great players on the team and its still a one man scoring affair. Thats what DH would be, a grunt, just for rebounding and D. Kobe, still plays ball, like he would in pick up game in the hood, he never was school correct.  He whines and crys anythime he gets touched.  Has to shoot the ball 50 % of the time for his team . He IS the the worlds most spoiled NBA player ever.  I NEVER thought of MJ like this.  Only Mello comes close to owning this title of MR SELFISH . Best thing Mellow could do for NY is go play in Europe.

The way to beat cry baby Kobe is foul him hard.  Like the announcer said last night, your going to get call against you anythime you guard him, so you might as well make it count and make him feel the pain on his arms. Mess up his rymthum.

I love watching the fakers loose a game. It was great !

If you've seen it once, you've seen them all, Kobe will never change.

I didn't think it was possible for his shot selection to get any worse until last season.  This season is just leaving me slack-jawed.

Of course, with our luck he'll be lazy on Thursday and give Gasol and Bynum 20 shots each at the rim.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
