I hate Scola, But no one deserves a stomp in the face. Shame on Love, his points and respect level both just went way down in my book.

I actually like that kind of mean streak he showed , maybe took it a little too far , but every championhip team needs a nasty big man. It wasn't an albert hansworth stomp or anything

well said. there is no excuse for stepping on someone's face in a basketball game. 

as for the flop, scola was fouled, flop or not.

Dave Cowans was great to watch, it was a regualr brawlunder the boards .   You do what you gotta to get an advantage.  I bet Scola don't mess with Love anymore

That said, a part of me likes it. Perhaps not a foot in the face but players fighting, hitting and going at each other would be nice. I'm sick of them all liking each other and the NBA not letting things get a physical as they did in the past.
As much as I hated "The Bad Boys" of the 80's and 90's at the time I now miss teams and players like that.

Ok, the 2 game suspension for the 'stomp' seems too much.  I don't really care about Love one way or another, but the video doesn't seem to be as bad as I expected.  It seemed more like something you get a T for or maybe a fine. 

To me it didn't look intentional.  People have been comparing it to what Bynum did last spring and Ndamukong Suh putting his cleats into the green bay lineman and it just doesn't look that bad. 

I mean, I think what Wade did to Rondo was worse than what Love did to Scola.  Wade didn't even get a foul called on him.

I'm shocked that something like that only resulted in a two game suspension.  For comparison, Albert Haynesworth got 5 NFL games (5/16 of the season) for a similar act.  Ndamukong Suh got 2 1/2 games for his stomp.

2 out of 66 games is a bit of a joke.

IMO, what Love did to Scola in no way resembles what Suh did. Love didn't stop, look down at Scola, and then shove his foot on Scola's head.  He was running over him, and seems to get tripped a bit.  He does step on his chest, but it doesn't look to me like he stepped on his face or his head. 

That is the media / espn blowing it out of proportion.  I watched that video about 20 times and I can't figure out how someone can compare the Suh thing to this.  It isn't anywhere near the same thing.
