I have been impressed with Lin.  What is there not to like about an underdog?  Everything with a grain of salt though, lets see a larger sample size.

Sometimes I think the knicks would be better off without melo and amare playing together.  I think it is a better situation for Lin to NOT have melo and amare.  He will get more touches, and be able to develop his own confidence and chemistry without the added worry of keeping the stars getting their points / touches.

Maybe I am just sick of melo...he just isn't a team player.  The other knicks seem to be playing better and feeding off Lin as well.

What an amazing story. Watched him play tonight, he has the instincts of a pure point guard. Very much reminds me of Nash in that regard. Hey Danny, this kid was in your back yard for 4 years, and he did not even get an invite to camp? Sure wish we had him instead of Bradley as our back up PG.

Will be watching with much interest on Friday.

Hopefully he does well against LA. I have a sneaking suspicion that he will.

As great a player as Kobe is, if he's left chasing Lin around the court on Friday, he will be hard-pressed to have a monster game.

Kobe will have his hands full enough tomorrow, too.

I love his tenacity always willing to attack the rim. And he's a decent finisher too. Looking forward to Amar'e return (not so much Melo).

It will be VERY interesting to see how they perform with Melo and Stat back. You know Lin can't keep doing this with both of them back, since he won't have the ball in his hands. The Knicks are playing pure team ball at the moment (regardless of whether they are good or bad) with the PG (LIN) leading the team in plays, but that is just impossible with Melo and Stat. Melo needs the ball to iso and same can be said about Stat.

What will be more interesting is when and if the Knicks start losing again with the duo back. You know the fans won't be happy and the whole "we are better off without one or both" will start.

Anyways, if you are not sold on this kid, you just haven't watched them play. I follow closely with NBAtv and the kid has pure skills for a PG. His vision, speed, competitiveness.. they are all real. Not saying he's up there with Paul or whoever, but he can be a solid point guard for any team.

Of course most of you guys will be saying crap if he has a bad night vs the Lakers, but I think the kid is due for one. He's been playing some heavy minutes afterall. It's a good story though. Happy for the guy.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
He looking legit now (in the NBA level that is). Not only he can score if he wants to, he has shown that he can distribute and find open people. His penetration dribble is so deadly that it opens up a lot of possibilities. Even with Stat and Melo back, they might give Lin a few possessions where he create and run the offense.

I think the Knicks found their PG that they needed. ANd it's not Baron Davis.

Jeez, how many steps was that dunk? 4 long steps?

He's pretty solid though, I'm pulling for him.

If it werent for Lin and Novak, Dantoni woulfd have been sacked by now.

Great pick up for the Knicks. Wondrin ehat the Warriors are feeling at the moment. I mean Lin  is tearing it up wih a bunch of scrubs he has made Chandler and Novak lookin like an all-star..

Its just a 3 game sampling but its enough for me to say that if melo comes back and let lin handle the reigns like the way PP lets rajon handle the qb. Then there is no reason for NY not to contend.

I dont...he still cant play D.

Wall almost doubled his season average.

We actually have some decent scoring options off the bench now.

I love having a dominant defensive player like Bradley on the bench.
