If he keeps it up, he could become the most talked about athlete in the media the rest of the season. Not every day you see an Asian-American, Harvard graduate basketball player.

Definitely rooting for this kid.

A little while back, we had a good discussion about people rooting for white people because they can relate and I was more inclined to say that people tend to root for the underdog player. I think Lin is a great example of this. I wonder how many Asians are writing in this forum because he's been talked about over here and I see on ESPN they have a little rooting section for him. I think he's becoming a mini-sensation because he's an underdog being the first Asian-American to play in the NBA. Meanwhile, if people want to root for more American-born players, than Kevin Love should be the next sensation and should be everywhere.

Sorry, the last sentence doesn't sound good because it sounds pretty ignorant on my part, so I apologize about that. The argument was about race, as in people were saying that there are fans that tend to root for white American players because they can relate and I say there is a difference with Lin because he is Asian-American but people tend to root for him and is quickly becoming a fan favorite over in NY.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Homeboy (I'm from Palo Alto as he was before, he he) has got it going. I think the Knicks have found their PG. not only he can score, he's sharing it as well. Still needs to work on his turnovers but the future is bright for him.

Palo Alto is proud of you Jeremy.

Jeremy's story is real life Disney movie. If Disney doesn't want to make the movie, I'll settle for a Documentary on PBS though.

I happen to stumble on this video an interview with Jeremy and his mom. He seems relaxed in it. He talks candidly about his trials and tribulations. It opened my eyes on College experience from Asian B-Baller perspective.

What all this shows is NY is better off without Mello aka.. MR Ballhog...  Out of desperation or lack of players , the coach let him play...he wasn't bright enough to figure out LIN could play on his own.  Typical of his history.

Denver is now a better team withoout Mello , the stupid NYK coach needs to be fired and they should get a smart coach with a basket ball IQ , then trade off Mello and let "TEAM" players play the game as  "TEAM" sport.

Lin success just proves how screwed up that whole team is.  Its maddening to watch them.

D'antoni's answer to any player who is showing an ounce of commitment or success on the offensive end is to play them 45 minutes and completely run them into the ground....love lin but d'antoni is a terrible coach.

Nice interview, thanks.  Notable that any racial harassment stopped as soon as he got to the NBA.

Lin at it again , through 3 quarters he has

20 pts , 8 asts , 8-13 fgs

This kid is impressive

Knicks going for 3 straight win ( 2nd without Melo or Amare)

Safe to say they found their PG of the future?

Game is on NBATV if anyone wants to catch the 4th

Remember when Earl Barron averaged a double-double in seven games for the Knicks at the end of the 2009-2010 season, including 17 points and 18 rebounds in a win over the Celtics?  How's he doing?
