I'm happy for NY.

Lin has been a bright spot for them lately.

Good for Lin.  Two great games he's played, he's not wasting his chance! I always liked his game when he was at Harvard.  He seriously needs to work on his left hand though, scouting reports  are going to include him now and forcing him left seems to be a start.

I fail to understand how it is possible that a team with defenders like Chandler, Fields, and Shumpert playing a lot of minutes can't play defense. Is it really possible for Amare and Melo to play defense?

you know i had to tune in for J-lin Show. If there's one guy I can compare him to probably Dwyane Wade a poor man Wade. This kid is fearless attacking the basket.

He had 4 circus layups that would make Wade proud. He got fatigued half way in 4th quarter because he played every second in the half. Freaking incredible!

And he loves Jesus. Are we witnessing Tim Tebow of the NBA?

His legacy at Harvard lives on. Lavietes Pavillion has becoame an exciting place. Tommy Ammaker has done a great job creating a real competeitive program.

Last year, Harvard tied for the Ivy title and lost in a playoff game on a leaner from 20 at the buzzer to miss the Big Dance.

This year they ranked in the top 25 in many weeks of the polls. They've never been there and should make it to the NCAAs.

Jeremy Lin carried his team in Cambridge for a couple of years and with Tommy Ammaker, helped make that program relevant again.

Went back to homestate of Cali when GS drafted him and drifted to Houston then to the Knicks. Wish he drifted a little farther east back to Cambridge/Boston.

Good Luck to the kid. Great to see a "local" hoopster make good.

Also, TPs to all who said something positive about this "local" kid in this thread.

What?

Look at their defensive rating, 10th in the league. They are not a bad defensive team.

I see opponent shooting % are bad, including worst in league from 3. Where can I see their pace and other stats? Doesn't Hollinger usually have that up by now on ESPN?

Seems they are second in steals, so I guess that helps. Denver was always high in steal to when Melo was there.

He uses his body very well in many ways but especially on those dribble drives. Impressive.
