Yeah, they finally gave the guy enough minutes to give himself a shot at proving himself, (something I wasn't sure they'd do this season) ... the kid's got some game for sure. I hope they continue to use him consistently, and get to work on his defensive skills ... I think he's actually got a decent chance in this league.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Me and my buddies watched this game, and we were laughing/cheering so hard for him. God it was hilarious to see him splitting on the pick and roll and finishing in contact.
Good on him, he was so exhausted but his adrenalin pulled him through.

Great to see stuff like this, the entire MSG on their feet for a free agent asian american.
Awesome.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

First, I was thinking "Tebow of the NBA", but I soon realized, that Lin is a baller.

It also shows how effective D'Antoni's offense can be with a true pg, and how bad the other point guards, they have used, are at that.

He also played well against us. I'm thinking he must have been tired against us, that had to be the only reason he was taken out b/c he was torching us before he was! I remember everyone in the chat saying who is that and laughing... we were all like, SOMEONE stop him!!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Watched him in the D league and he looked good. Looked good against the C's too, and that was against two really goo defensive PG's

I wonder if DA can trade Dooling and Bradley for him? He'd be a great Back up to Rondo, and maybe a replacement down the road.

Would NY do that? Probably not,but they aren't the smartest franchise when it comes to trades, so who knows!

His stats at Harvard were extraordinary.  Nice to see him get a chance in the NBA.

He had a decent first half against us, then D'Antoni decided not to use him at all in the second half. Was glad to see Douglas out there.

I remember seeing him in the summer league and thought 'This guy's got legit game.'  Never understood why he hadn't made it in the league yet.  Happy to see him break out.  Always wished the C's would give him a shot.

He showed that he had legit game last preseason, and anytime he got play last year too. I never thought he'd have a 25 point game cuz I couldnt picture him being the center of an offense, but hes a real good passer, and can play great D as well.  When he was in Golden state, he would only get a few minutes here and there, but he still always seemed to come out with at least 1 steal.  He's got great hands.

It really is hilarious how important he is on a team with three Max or Near Max players unable to get crap done this season. Good for him, though. The guy is making himself a lot of money right now as far as future contracts.

In related(?) news, Baron Davis has apparently suffered a "setback" in his return from a herniated disc.
