Doom and gloom... we can't beat anyone with a winning record....we beat Orlando twice and then Indiana.
Doom and gloom...we started out 4-8...we've gone 8-2 since.
Doom and gloom...Rondo is seriously hurt and will miss time...we go 6-2 during his absence with Avery Bradley starting and E'Twaun Moore backing him up.
Doom and gloom...we are down 27 to Orlando...we come back to win.
Doom and gloom...we are missing Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Jermaine O'Neal, Keyon Dooling and Chris Wilcox from the lineup...we win the game.
Doom and gloom...our center position isn't perfect...........
Excuse me if I don't fall in line with the doom and gloom regarding this team. I have heard it before and this team has shown the doom and gloom to be entirely WRONG!!!!
Yep, that 12-10 record through the easiest stretch of the season and that 7th seed right now are certainly outstanding. I am no a doom and gloomer. I am enjoying the season. To deny the center position is a joke, however, is ignoring reality in my opinion.
Its always reality with the doom and gloomers and if you don't agree you aren't facing reality.
This team started out 4-8 because paul Pierce was injured and a vast majority of the team came in out of shape. That has been rectified. That 4-8 start during that time is the reason for our current 7th seed and 12-10 record. Still I seem to remember some predicting we would be with only about 8 wins at this point.
But if the center position is such a joke then obviously that must have cost us a ton of games because the opposing center just wrecked this team.
Well it cost us a Cleveland game as Varejao got every important rebound in the final few minutes, though I would argue so did the absence of Rajon Rondo.
It definitely cost us one Indiana game and the Phoenix game but other than that, our center position hasn't really cost us that many games. And we have won 2 games versus Dwight Howard, a game versus Tyson Chandler and a game versus Roy Hibbert. So clearly even when you have a very good to outstanding center, that doesn't mean you win every game.
Our center position is not ideal but since there is such a lack of good centers in the league, it really doesn't matter that much. Or at least as much as you are claiming.
