Well, it creates a double problem, since it helps us, but perhaps saves the Knicks from sucking for a long time by allowing them to replace Chandler with another star.
But I'd think about it. Chandler's better than Perk ever was and solves all of our problems. Thus, he could be a game changer here.
I mean if you think this team can take the Bulls and Heat to 6-7 games now, you have to believe that Chandler makes them good enough to have at least a shot to win the series.
While I don't love what he does to our cap, let's realize something: the chances of us making a big free agent splash this summer is very, very small.
So immediate cap space isn't likely the premium some would make it out to be.
