Well, the wins against the QUALITY TEAMS are piling up..........

Grizzlies were 1 game over .500, and playing us with 2 of their 4 best players out.  It was a great win, but the grizzlies minus Zbo and TA are NOT a quality team

lol...so what do you quantify as a quality win?

I'm all ears?

A win over a full healthy playoff team.  Beating an injury  depleted non-playoff team is a pretty low standard.  Beating an injury depleted non-playoff team thats currently on a losing streak is an even sadder standard

Well, in this crazy season, no one has been healthy.

So are you saying that MEM is not a playoff team? If so I disagree.......

So once/if Boston beats the Los Angeles Lakers on Thur, then would THAT quantify as a quality win?

Now, how to limit JO's minutes. The way Doc is using him makes no sense considering how the other bigs are playing, particularly Wilcox (11 minutes only after that great fist half??).

JO had 7 rebounds, 3 of them being offensive. Probably coulda done better on the offensive side, but he wasn't so horrid in the way you're trying to paint him as.

"On a losing streak" hardly seems fair.  The Grizzlies lost their last game to the league-leading Thunder, but had won their two games prior to that (against Denver and Atlanta).

Memphis is definitely a streaky team (L3, W7, L4, etc.), but I think they're a quality opponent, even with Randolph and Tony missing.

Also, of course, it's not like those criticizing our play are giving a lot of credit to the fact that we've played without Pierce, Ray, Rondo, JO, and others for stretches this year.

I haven't said anything about him being horrid or anything. I just don't think he deserves the playing time he's getting, period. Wilcox and Bass have been easily out playing him for a good chunk of the season now, and considering how well KG has been playing the 5 spot too and now JJJ proving he could get some time with this team, I don't know how can you can keep playing him for the amount of time you're giving him.

In my opinion Wilcox should be the starter of this team. Using this game as an example just to compare with the numbers you gave, Wilcox 5 rebounds, 2 offensive in 12 minutes of play... and forget about the superior offense he played.

I would hesitate to call Memphis a quality team without Z-Bo or TA, but it's certainly a quality win. It's not like the Celtics just eked by tonight. They played an average team and beat them soundly while keeping the starters around 30 minutes.

Nope.  It looks like Doc prefers Pietrus, and to a lesser extent Bradley, to get Quis' minutes.

I know his minutes have been down as Pietrus has been great and sasha has outplayed daniels but usually his name would appear on boxscore even if he didn't play.  didn't see game so unsure if he was even on bench
wondering if a package deal (dooling & quis) for a big body was coming down?
