What I am really hoping for is that some of the lesser bench players become organizational soldiers who provide veteran continuity for the bench on a string of minimum contracts (so not Bass, not Pietrusm who are above that level). I think a guy like Pavlovic could work out well as a fifth wing for depth who knows Doc's system due to experience in it and is used situationally but can step in as an adequate backup if there is an injury. Since he's almost three years younger, I like him better in that role than Daniels. Think of him as a smaller Scal who is actually athletic and doesn't have a huge contract. Give the problems in the past of integrating new players into the team, it might be better to avoid unnecessary roster churn, even if it means passing on a player who is slightly (only slightly) better.
