2 clutch shots!? (1 that didn't count but was insanely amazingly insane) Clutch defense!? Can I say still got it? Pierce you are amazing.
Rayray also had 2 consecutive clutch plays and Garnett was the one who kept us in early (and in the end, his defensive anchoring was beastly as well).
I can really see us going in the Spurs's direction now (maybe its the adrenaline speaking). Danny its all on you!
Rondo
Had an okay game. 1 jumper that I loved.
Are we better off without Rondo? I think...
No.
We should've been much better withRondo when we had him. Its because Doc's lineups suck that we struggle with Rondo
Rondo should not be on the floor at the same time as a few other players, most prominently not JO. JO is no Shaq, he just clogs the lane for Rondo (he also has no business playing more than 15 in my opinion). We have zero energy when Rondo and JO are on the court together. Nobody moves.
Wilcox needs time to warm up, JO doesn't. I think Rondo + Wilcox would've helped but by the time Wilcox got warm, Rondo needed rest.
Pierce is a great point forward. Doc seems to slowly be recognizing that.
Hopefully he figures out how to play Rondo because from what I see the lineups are what's killing his effectiveness.
I also like the fact that the starters played not too many minutes (apart from Pierce, but its reasonable since he was such a beast).
Bradley/Moore watch
Bradley did what he did. Loved it.
Why no more Moore?
With Dooling back, hopefully Doc will continue to play Moore. Our backcourt is incredibly versatile.
Forgive me for the disorganized post but that was a hella game and I am still super pumped. Wooo!
