Remember how I think Doc said the plan was to always have one of the Big 3 on the floor at all times?

I think the plan needs to change to no more than two.

It's just that the league doesn't allow walkers and it really slows us down.  To be fair I understand there is also a prohibition against training wheels, but the whole point about training wheels is to use them to the point you don't need them and I don't think this is a rehab walker.

I mean Jermaine is like one of those dogs they put down because he can't win races any more.

Pierce mostly still has it. Mostly.

KG is a step faster than Jermaine.

Ray mostly has it, but has clearly moved to the "The season is a marathon" league.

Unless the other team is going with the slow line up you can't put JON and KG out there together any more.

Are there rules about how much Red Bull they can put in the Gatorade?

Wow. I think Greg Dickerson just said that Doc chewed out Rondo to get into our sets quicker. I bet Rondo wanted sooooo soooo bad to say "What! ME go quicker? Did you just say for ME to go quicker? Are you even watching this game?"

Let's just be clear about this.

Frankly, it's all we need to do: split up the lineups so it doesn't look like we're playing straight off the seniors' circuit.

Move Ray and JO to the bench with Moore, Pavolovic [Green next year], and Bass [JJJ next year].

Start Pietrus at SG and heck, try Wilcox at C, what the heck; just not JO.

Rondo/ Bradley/ Moore
Pietrus/ Ray/ Quisy
Pierce/ Pavolovic
KG/ Bass/ JJJ
Wilcox/ JO/ Steimsma

Each group has young legs and veteran facilitators and bail-out guys, and multiple offensive options, solid defenders, etc.  They seem as balanced as I could get them.

If only Doc would take my calls...

The Big 3 are tired of waiting for Rondo to pick up his dribble. A reason we played well when he was out. They don't exactly have energy to spare. We had our handfuls with the Knicks even though the announcers were saying the Knicks sucked and their top 2 players don't see eye to eye. Sure Rondo has been out but one would not know the difference. Dribbling, bad defense, lets not even mention shooting. He's an emotional young man evidenced by his handling of the Perkins trade. He's averaging 15 a game but giving 8+ back with turnovers, bad shooting and foul shooting. I don't think the kid was ever handled right. One good thing the Celts got him fairly cheap.

putting Ray on the 2nd unit is a bad idea..and I say this for one main reason..

1.he is not a player who creates his own shot. he strives off of screens or getting open off of people collapsing on other players...thats nothing against him

but theres only 2 players who can create their own shot on this team when there doesnt seem to be anything...Pierce and Rondo. and having either of those 2 on the floor with the 2nd unit is much better
