I have an extremely hard time believing Sheed is anywhere close to NBA basketball level conditioning right now.

I still think he'd have a hard time.  Those guys had a lockout induced layoff of a few months.  Sheed hasn't played an NBA game since June '10.  That's a huge layoff plus he wasn't exactly in the best shape then and he's 37.

If he did anything constructive, I'd be shocked.

He was terrible when he was with us and hadn't suffered the major layoff. I would gladly welcome him back to see him shoot bricks for the Fakers.

News says he contacted the team. Don't see any indication they're actually planning to sign him.
