If this falls thru, we're toast!  :'(
not necessarily.  Pryz would help them. Martin is a PF not a center.  They're better off with Haslem backing up Bosh

How many teams have a backup big man duo as good as Martin/Haslem, though?  I think those two can handle the backup 4/5 against just about every team in the league.

They would make the Heat bench more potent and much deeper.. Kenyon can slide to SF coz he's quicker.. Battier and Miller can be SF or SG.. And if Cole and Chalmers play steadily, no matter how much HEART the Celtics have, they will crush us!

Both guys washed up. I can see Kenyon contributing maybe 4pts and 2rbs a night.

There's no bank to break.  We only have minimum contracts to offer.

Miami is in a similar position, I believe, but they play in a warmer climate with a more friendly tax structure, and have a team seen as more of a contender.

I dont know about Pryz, but I dont see any reason to say Kmart is washed up.  He came back looking good after his last surgery.

Kenyon averaged about 8.6 points per game and 6.2 rebounds in over 25 minutes a game last year.  Hardly stellar numbers.  I hope and pray that the Heat play him at SF.  I would get burnt left and right as he no longer has anywhere near the lateral quickness to defend solid SF's.

Przy was horrible last year!  He averaged 1.8 points and 4 rebounds per game in just over 14 minutes.  Plus, Joel could NEVER get healthy when in Charlotte.  He is washed up.

Why are we crying about this?

Dang.  I was hoping we'd have a shot at Przybilla.

I dont know about that. Playing 20 minutes a night I could Martin getting 8 and 6 a night pretty easily like he did when he last played in Denver. Pryz is another big body Im not sure how productive he would be...But i would hate to see Kenyon go to the heat. Their bench would get instantly better.

Beyond stats, I think both would have toughness / thugness to the roster.  The Heat need that, since overall they're pretty soft.

K-Mart would be stupid not to go to the Clips.

Especially Martin. He would be a good veteran for the youngsters and provide some intimidation factor in the middle. If the Heat followed his lead they would be pretty legit. Its funny how a small addition such as Martin could potentially be an enormous thing for a Heat title run....Ugh that hurt to type.

So pick your poison : Kenyon goes to the HEat to help them dominate the East, or he goes to the Clips to make that draft pick slide further into the late 20's?

Well, I wish he picks the Spurs!
