Because everyone in the media loves to talk about how the Celtics can't afford to let the Big Three get old and get nothing for them. However, few actually have any good suggestions about what we should do.
And that should be very telling about why the Big Three are still together: it's theoretically great to trade them for the next pieces of the puzzle; however, when it comes to actually doing it, it's a totally different story.
