http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story?id=7523185&_slug_=pau-gasol-atlanta-hawks-other-potential-trade-ideas-nba&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnba%2fstory%3fid%3d7523185%26_slug_%3dpau-gasol-atlanta-hawks-other-potential-trade-ideas-nba

I had seen a sub-title on ESPN with that title and I clicked it and couldn't get much on the article. Any one with insider want to help out and post what it said? It also said D-Will to Indy. Not looking for entire article, just some info about the rumor about KG to Denver or anything more about the Celts.

Just rumors . . . not stuff that is likely to happen.

If I had to guess, I'd say a trade of KG to Denver would have to involve some guys who are currently in China.

In any case, the article is about pretender to contender trades, and given that it involves trading KG to Denver, I'm guessing it talks about a trade that would make the Nuggets a true "contender."  I doubt it's meant to make the C's better this season.

As long as no one posts the whole article, it is perfectly fine to discuss what the article says.

It's not even based on rumors.  It's just an article of what pretender teams could do to possible be contenders.

The Denver one was Miller, Afflalo and Mozgov for KG.

Thanks man. Not a big fan of a trade like that, unless 1st round picks were thrown in coming this way

KG, JJJ, Dooling and JO plus a pick for Miller, Afflalo, and Nene.

Rondo/Miller
Ray/Afflallo
Pierce/Daniels
Bass/Pietrus
Nene/Wilcox

Why oh why in the world would the Nuggets trade Nene?  They have one of the best records in the West, and Nene has been their best player.

just a bunch of terrible trade ideas.

Garnett for Andre Miller, Afflalo, Mozgov

makes absolutely no sense.

DWill to Indy equally nonsensical. DWill for Collison and Hill.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
firstly, please post this stuff in the trade ideas and rumours section.
Secondly, there is zero chance of Denver signing off on this.
They're basically trading KG for Nene who they just resigned....
Heinous idea by whoever did this at ESPN, they must really need some hits on their site.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

ESPN didn't suggest the Nene thing -- that was one of the posters who responded to this thread.

ESPN suggests Miller, Afflalo, Mozgov for KG.  No idea why the Celtics would bother.

I never said they would. Thats the only deal I would take from them and I know it wouldnt happen... But man does our rotation look good if we indeed lived in a NBA 2K12 world.
