Im no refereeing genius or anything, but i cant stand the free throw given when someone gets called for a tech foul. It should just stay as the usual two techs and an ejection. Players have the right to show their emotions for what they are and i feel as though they are already paying the price for a warning.

Not to mention that one extra point can be very decisive in a close game where players' emotions come out

This reminded me...in this shortened season, does anyone know how many techs before suspension starts?
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift...
That is why it is called the present.

I still think a technical should be 2 free throws and the ball... Showing emotions is fine, but there is way too much whining and complaining in the league for no reason. If you commit a foul, and start yelling at a ref because of it, then you should be given a Tech without question. Players need to stop whining and play basketball.
