I think Moore has a better chance of playing defense like Bradley than Bradley has of shooting like Moore.

Actually: Moore looks like he's been looking at Avery Bradley REALLY closely, on defense. That's a very good thing.

I really like that Bradley's D isn't just good for his play, but it's showing the other young guys what they need to do to get on the court.  Contagious!
Yup. Plus if you put pressure on their ball-handler, it's way easier to play the passing lanes, since they will be very limited. So it'll make the rest look way better on D as well.

Disadvantage: if the opposing PG is a stud, you're in trouble.

E'Twaun Moore decided to have one of those quarters offensively where he reminds us that he was a second round pick in a crappy draft for a reason.

Gotta say though, the draft's looking a lot less crappy now than it did in June.  Lot of solid rookies this year.

grab Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing rebounds.

If we're to believe Doc & the players, it's actually closer than it looks right now.

I think it's "Mr Composed" vs "Mr Athletic".

10 offensive rebounds for Varejao. Unbelievable.

Eh, I think you're underrating the difficulty of playing on ball defense when you're limited athletically.

Varejao is doing what he used to do against our big men in the LeChoke days... get every loose ball and rebound. Remember when he did it against Perk, BBD and KG? He's great at that, mediocre at every other aspect.

By the way, I like what Avery is doing there... he's still far from getting it, but he looks like he'll be a good playmaker. Moore is a combo guard, a scorer. I like them both, as they're completely different players.

very believable unfortunately.  too many times his man leaves him unattended and no one switches to cover him.  horrible rebounding execution.

  • Rondo = Good
And yet it can be argued that every single one of the Boston starters are better than the Philly starters.

One could argue that.

I think Rondo is definitely better than Holiday.  Ray is better than Meeks (though Williams has been better than Ray, and he plays 25 mpg).

I actually think Iggy is better than Pierce at this point in their careers.  Brand isn't quite as good as KG, perhaps, though I think it probably depends on the night.

Hawes is definitely better than any center we have on our roster.

Look, I think it's close enough that you're definitely entitled to your opinion on this one.  However, the fact that it's so close and the Sixers already have a pretty significant lead on the C's in the standings, to me, means it's pretty unlikely we catch them.

Stunning how dominant Andy is on the boards tonight.  Pure hustle and persistance.

it's amazing what reducing turnovers can do for this team.  helps make up for a lot of ills like subpar rebounding.
well this statement is coming back to bite me in the butt this half  >:(
