So how do you all feel about JO back in the starting 5? Mixed emotion here.
I'd rather kg & bass start unless we are playing howard or another big center (marc gasol maybe).  Dont' go with a set starter at center.  Jermaine is adequate when healthy (when) as a starting center.  As a backup he is a very good backup.  As it is he doesn't play that many minutes when starting.

Sasha contributing again. I agree he has been steadier than Quis.  Not sure if Quis just isn't 100%.

I think this team has to start spreading out the talent. Let Steamer and Pietrus start, which leaves Bass, JO, and Allen off the bench. We'd have the best bench in the league.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
We had 3 or 4 chances to put them away last time. Lets see if we can put our foot on their throats when we have them on the ropes this time.

Hm. At the very least, this team looks *different* from the team that we saw the first 8 games, which is obviously a good thing.

Unfortunately, we don't seem to be quite there yet. Interior defense is weak, at the moment. Whether that's because we lack a legit center or because guys fail at their assignments, it needs to change.

Moore is solid. Perhaps not the most talented PG, but he's solid. Rather have him handle the ball than say, Ray Allen.

Well, that's been m way of thinking. Doc at times strikes me as a system guy vs a situation guy. Would like to see him mix and match. But then again, would also like to see KG working closer to the rim.

And learning. I assume the kid has always been a shooting guard.

Nice swish from E'Twaun.

I see we're giving up another big game to Andy Varejao; at least Irving hasn't made a shot yet.

And his shot just looks good, even when he misses.

I just tuned in -- anybody tell me why Bradley was given the hook after 7 minutes?

One big short of making some noise, just long, quick, young legs. You know, like Stiemer.

Fair point. He's young and hasn't played that spot before. I wonder if he'd be quick enough to play like Ray. His release is a tad slow for the NBA level. Not that I've timed it or anything, it just looks more like Pierce's shot than Ray's.
