This is the proper way to sell an epic dunk:

The announcers should be ashamed of themselves for blowing it.
So... coincidentally a mere 5 hours after posting that video, we went to a bar in Seattle tonight and guess who we ran into:

Yup... my buddy on the left grew up idolizing him. He's been giddy for the last hour....
Didn't even phase him when Kemp tried to steal his date:

Classic Kemp.
Haha Kemp is awesome. I love how he is still living it up in Seattle. Its criminal that that city doesn't have a basketball team.
Yeah he's had his troubles, but back in mid 90s the Sonics ruled. My dad and I moved to Seattle in 95. Kemp and Payton were awesome back then. It was pre-internet and the Celtics were terrible so it was really difficult to follow them while living in Seattle... so my dad and I became massive Sonic fans temporarily. They use to have this "family deal" where you could show up to the arena an hour before the game and get a ticket, a hot dog and a soda for 7 bucks. Since Key Arena was so small (part of the reason Seattle lost them), there really wasn't a "bad" seat in the entire Arena. You could sit in the furthest row back and still see everything. Anyhow, during the 95/96 season (where they went to the FInals), we saw about 15 games using that "family deal". Got to see Jordan (Sonics beat them in the home game that year... the next year we saw them again Jordan dropped 45 points on us), Magic (he came back for a season as "Buff Johnson"), Barkley, Stockton/Malone, Hakeem, etc.. For some of the games like Chicago, my dad let me skip school to wait in line all day (in the cold) so we could get the best tickets possible. It was fun, though... hung out with fellow Sonic fans and prepped for the game. Kinda like tailgating. The fanbase was pretty awesome back then. Loudest arena in the NBA at the time. It was cool to finally meet Kemp. I loved Payton slightly more, but Kemp was a beast.
My friend on the left, though... Kemp was his hero. Slightly ahead of Griffey Jr. and Payton. He was giddy last night... it's probably how I would have been had I met Larry Bird. He's still excited about it this afternoon. Lol.
