K-Mart is going to immediately bolster the bench of a contender and has the potential to put them over the top. He's reportedly deciding between the Clippers, Heat, Knicks, Spurs and Hawks. He isn't what he used to be, but he's still an efficient scorer, rebounder and solid defender that any team in the NBA would be happy as the 3rd or 4th big in a rotation.

According to ESPN, the Clippers and Knicks are likely offering $2.5 million while the rest are closer (or at) the minimum. You have to think the Knicks are playing themselves out of his wishlist, while Atlanta isn't as serious a contender even though they can offer serious minutes as Horford comes into form. The Spurs seem to have an established bigs rotation of Duncan/Blair/Splitter/Bonner so Martin would have to fight for Bonner's minutes, leaving the Clips and Heat. In both cases, he would be the first/best big off the bench (although you could make a Udonis Haslem argument).

Hopefully he decides to go West and make a nasty little 3-man playoff rotation with Blake and Jordan instead of to Miami, but who knows. The 3 Nuggets will be gamechangers and it's something to watch because adding Martin, Smith or Chandler to your bench for the playoffs can plug a serious hole and make a difference. I'd guess the Clippers based on money, potential minutes and impact.

No, but thank you, no. He definitely has the wrong attitude. I want no part of his near this team.

Good thing he's not considering us, then.

I expect it'll be between the Clippers, Knicks and Heat in that order.

I think the Spurs will have a tough time convincing Kenyon Martin that they are a legitimate contender with Manu Ginobili out injured. And the Hawks without Horford, heck, I struggle to see them even being in the picture with a healthy Horford. A token mention (Atlanta).

Do you think his attitude is so bad that you would like to see him go to the best team because he will cause problems?

I don't care for him either as a person or a player.  He has had some bad injuries.  I would not mind him going to the HEAT as he is not a good locker room presence and will buck any system or other players if he feels like it.  LeBron is no leader and he might even regress with this cat on his team.  Spoelstra could not handle him.

Hawks make the most sense to me.

I think the Clippers make the most sense. He'd have a fairly large role off of the bench, and Chauncey Billups is already there.

I don't think his attitude is quite as disruptive as some seem to think it is.

He is going to be a Knick. It's common knowledge.

Clippers make the most sense.

Well, he probably should come here and start next to KG, with Bass, Wilcox, and JO rounding out a killer 5-big rotation

BECAUSE

We want his pal Wilson Chandler from Denver to come and play, too.

Guys would get solid 5-7 minute stretches to play their asses off the the maximum of their talent and just steamroll everyone for 48 solid minutes with energy and veteran savvy.

Rondo/Dooling/Moore
Pietrus/Ray/Bradley
Pierce/Chandler/JJJ
KMartin/Bass/Wilcox
KG/JO/Steimsma

Trade Sasha and Dooling for future 2nd rounder to make room.

Could either have a rest cycle or play 3 strings and substitute like a hockey game.

Nope...

Then, in the offseason, Pietrus, Ray, KG, JGreen, KMart, Chandler, Bass, and Wilcox find a way to split the $25M in cap space with Dwight Howard, and we cruize to not only the 2012 title, but a run of 5 straight starting from 2012 and then at least 4 straight with DH from 2013-'16 to pump the total up to 22 championships as Moore, J3, Green, Bass, and our 2 picks in 2012 join Rondo and DH as Pierce and KG retire in green after #20 in 2014.

We the next two with a lineup of

Rondo/Moore
2012 1st/Bradley
JGreen/Chandler/2012 1rst
J3/Bass
DHoward/
