Congratulations to the Allen family.  With four children in that household, he'll probably be more well rested if he gets back with the team soon than he will staying home.

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

The names are getting ridiculous. Why not something conventional?

As compared to stuff like "DeShawn", "LeBron", and "LaToya", Wystan is pretty conventional:

Quote
WYSTAN
GENDER: Masculine
USAGE: English (Rare)
Meaning & History
From the Old English name Wigstan, composed of the elements wig "battle" and stan "stone". This was the name of a 9th-century Anglo-Saxon saint. It became rare after the Norman conquest, and in modern times it is chiefly known as the first name of the British poet W. H. Auden (1907-1973).

Congrats to Ray and Shannon. Yay!

I would argue that Lebron, DeShawn, and Latoya are much more conventional names in modern US society than Wystan.

I'm guessing that Wystan will most likely be going with Ryan by the time he enters adolescence.

Ray's OCD even when naming his children. Unconventional he used up all the W's. All his boys have same initials W.R.A.

As he explains in Jessica Carmerato article from CSNNE http://www.csnne.com/blog/celtics-talk/post/For-Allen-naming-child-is-about-consiste?blockID=640344&feedID=10424

Quote
“We had a lot of advice and a lot of names being said because all of our boys are ‘W.R.A,’” Allen said prior to Friday’s game against the Indiana Pacers. “We scoured every ‘W’ name we could.”
