Aaaaaand here come the "blow it up because Pierce/KG/Allen is washed up" threads.

Ok, Celtics got overcomfy in the end, wasting away 9 straight possessions... you can't lose your focus even against the Cavs. Ouch.

Forget this game, watch the 4th quarter film to learn from it, and win the next one. Good night to all.

Go Celtics!

Meh...

After these last four games this loss means nothing to me.

We let them hang all game and they still had a run left in them.

Let's see what happens next game.

Just like last year's team, we don't get up for mediocre opponents.  Not surprising, and somewhat reassuring in a way.

Pierce nonchalant with the ball. KG was soft inside the paint. 11 of Celtics 16 came from those two.

below .500 again. ugh!

  • Rondo = Good
Kyrie Irving is a legit player.  He really exposed Avery . . . Avery couldn't defend him to save his life, and he was a non-factor on offense.

Yet another indefensible 4th quarter collapse by this team.  They seemed to give up after that non-call on the foul on Pierce.

I guess it was a good effort all things considered, but really if you look at the rosters there's no reason the Cavs should be able to hang around.  The Celtics just allowed the Cavs to play the game at their pace and they were sloppy the entire game.

The Cavs did a good job totally exposing the Celtics' lack of an inside game.

on a separate note, the all-star 20 ppg Marshon Brooks that we gave up for JJJ had 6 points on 3-10 shooting in a loss tonight.

Celtics still can't get over .500.

Well, we could be ORL..they are getting destroyed at home by Indy right now.

Looks like 5 losses in a row for them.

Wow.

Could not see the game, unfortunately, but it looks like we gave this one away?

I thought Boston was due for a game like this.

We've had an incredible run the last few games, though...but this is one we should've had.

I see some comments about Ray - are we really THAT different a team with him in there? Or does the reason we lost tonight lie somewhere else?

They let up and you throw in the refs being bad this what you get. Doc waited too long to put the starters back in.

C's just need to win the rematch Tuesday. Gave this young team confidence though.  >:(
